On the eve of International Women's Day on March 8, Aisuluu Namazbek Kyzy, instructor at the Department of Sociology, conducted an interesting presentation on the history of this date.

In September 26  2017, Mr. Jaap Ora, Head of the Political, Press and Information Section of the Delegation of the European Union to the Kyrgyz Republic, participated in the European Day of Languages and donated to the library a unique collection of books.
 

On the last day of winter, February 28, the Library in collaboration with Writing and Academic Resource Center (WARC) held a workshop for Senior students.The WARC tutors shared with their experience on Information Literacy.

On February 13 Library and  Anthropology department conducted the event “Anthropology of love” dedicated to St. Valentine's Day.

In December 7, 2018 AUCA Library had an excellent opportunity to host a meeting with famous Manaschy Rysbai Isakov and his student Nurbek. Our guests performed excerpt from epic Manas.

On Tuesday, December 5, the library hosted a meeting which was called “Riding a butterflies without a saddle” by AUCA faculty member Alua Devine from  BA and  MBA departments and A very young artist - Alyza Zheldenbaeva.

On November 24, 2017 AUCA Library conducted the Poetry Event. It was a good opportunity for all poetry lovers of AUCA community to get together and perform their favorite poems.

From the last academic year AUCA Library provides Information literacy course for NGA students. Today, we would like to congratulate them for this successful accomplishment.
