Dear Freshmen!    Welcome to the American University of Central Asia! As the heart of campus, the Library offers much more than books and a place to study. The Library’s work is to provide comprehensive resources and dynamic services to support the research, teaching, and learning needs of the University community.

On May 31, 2024, AUCA faculty Kamilya Kadyrova and Daniyar Karabaev and AUCA library director Jyldyz Bekbalaeva delivered a “Digital Methods in Humanities” training session for 20 faculty members from various institutions in Bishkek.

Help us to showcase our history through a captivating Retro Exhibit!  
We collect old and vintage items for display during a “Gadget Free Day” on April 25, 2024  (we will inform you about the event a little later).
 
Whether it’s old gadgets like disc telephones, record players, film cameras, or cassettes;  nostalgic toys, dolls, board games, magazines, paintings, photographs, or any other memorabilia, please share for the exhibit.  Please bring your items to AUCA Library (rooms 330 and 340) until April 24. 
We guarantee the safety of things. You can collect them back after the exhibit.
