The event gathered AUCA faculty, staff, students, and other guests. At the event, professor of the Technical School of Innovation AUCA Burul Shambayeva B presented her “Kyrgyz Proverbs” book. The author shared the story of her book containing 500 unique proverbs in Kyrgyz and their equivalents in Russian and English. Professor Shambayeva also offered an engaging activity to the audience helping to learn the Kyrgyz proverbs and sayings and discuss their cultural significance. The audience highly appreciated the publication which will be a valuable resource for Kyrgyz language learners of all ages.
