What are OER?

 

OER are educational materials that are offered freely and under the open license to use, to improve, to re-mix and to distribute.

 

 

Open texbook collections 

 

Open Textbook Library contains real, complete textbooks licensed so teachers and students can freely use, adapt, and distribute the material. Open textbooks can be downloaded for no cost, or printed inexpensively.

 

OpenStax College provide access to free textbooks developed and peer-reviewed by educators to ensure they are readable, accurate, and meet the scope and sequence requirements of your course.

 

College Open Textbooks provide open textbooks in Arts, Business, Economics, Math, Psychology, Sociology, Computer science, etc. 

Open Courses


Open Course Ware (OCW) free and open educational materials.


Open Yale Courses (OYC) provides lectures and other materials. It includes liberal arts disciplines, humanities, social sciences, and physical and biological sciences.


Future Learn is online learning course. It offers materials on Business & Management, Health & Psychology, Tech &coding, Teaching.

 

Open edX is the open source platform which includes educational materials.


On Coursera you can take hundreds of courses from the world’s best universities and instructors. Courses are open to anyone, and are available anytime, anywhere.


TedX is free motivational video lecture in various topics.
